Overview
MAPO Seoul Hackathon took place from May 6th to 31st, 2023. As one of the hubs for blockchain innovation, Seoul is the perfect place for MAP Protocol to start its first hackathon event. Aftering narrowing down applications from over 70 projects, MAPO Seoul Hackathon brought 35 teams from all over the world to both online and offline Demo Day.
This hackathon aims to encourage developers to break barriers in Web3 and innovate with omnichain for true interoperability. It focuses on the following tracks: Use of MOS (MAP Omnichain Service), Payment, Tooling, GameFi/ Plugins, and NFTs/ Social.
MAPO Seoul Hackathon provided a collaborative platform for hackers to showcase their ideas, skills, and passion for solving the interoperability challenges in the blockchain space with a mix of panel discussions and speeches by industry experts.
Hackathon Winners
Demo Day was the high note of MAPO Seoul Hackathon. With support from our dedicated partners, a prize pool of $50,0000 was provided for the winning teams. Our judges were leaders from top Web3 projects or VCs, including Waterdrip Capital, Particle Network, MixMarvel, Alchemy Pay, DoraHacks, MetaTrust Labs, Seoul Maeil Daily News, etc. (View the full judge list here )
Based on the provided judging rubric on technical implementation, innovation, usefulness, impact on the omnichain ecosystem, user experience, potential for future growth, and overall presentation, our judges rated each project and 17 projects that innovatively used development components of the sponsors emerged as the winners of MAPO Seoul Hackathon 2023.

KashSpace is an omnichain lending protocol, with a user-centric focus. With MOS, KashSpace is able to tap into users and resources on both EVM & Non-EVM chains and utilize trustless cross-chain verification to provide users with high-level security & decentralization.
